Photos of South Uist
Image detailsDate uploaded: Tuesday 26th January 2010 12:34:27 | Popularity: This image has been viewed 4296 times | Description: Seven Petrel sounding rockets prior to firing at the Royal Artillery Range, South Uist. The hairy monster standing beside them is a very much younger me.
I think it was taken in the early 70s. At the time it was a record for the number of such rockets fired in one day. |
