Photos of South Uist
Image detailsDate uploaded: Thursday 30th March 2006 06:01:53 | Popularity: This image has been viewed 4241 times | Description: Old Strome Bridge, North Lochboisdale 1960/70 before the new dam was built. I had to cross this on many a windy day on my way to and from Daliburgh School '70/71 and I learnt the best lesson of survival ever - never cross the bridge with an umbrella as I was almost transported bodily, like a parachute which was a very frightening experience when you're only 9yrs old.
