Discussion: Hi,
I am trying to trace the family of Penelope MacDonald (parents, siblings etc), she was born C 1816 at Stoneybridge, South Uist ???
She died on the 18th June 1886 at Boisdale, South Uist. Her parent on the death certificate are listed as Allan MacDonald and Marion MacDonald. She married John Peteranna on 27th May 1832 at Stoneybridge, South Uist.
I have just recently started to research the Macdonald side of the family and I am at odds as where to start. Hope that that the above may rings some bells to someone out there. Any help would be more the welcome.
