...I've heard more than a wee bit of criticism locally about the lack of Uist accent in the series so far.
I think they mean it features a lot of incomers. However, perhaps this is caused by a natural reticence in the people here to self-promote? Point a camera in the face of your average Uisteach and the natural urge is to turn away, is this not so?
Anyway, Monty Hall has done an excellent job of showcasing the amazing scenery of the Uists and we could be in for a very healthy year in terms of tourism.
