Hi there - Obedience classes for dogs are available on the islands. I will try to find you some info and post again.

Andy, hello there. I would advise to keep dogs on a leash at all times. There is statutory provision for crofters to protect their livestock, please bear that in mind. If you are out hill walking or the such like and are confident that there are no sheep around, then I would imagine you would be fine to let them have some freedom. Again, always err on the side of caution. Dogs go quite mad around the furry white fleaced beasties, and most dogs go mad back home around humans. Not much help, but thought I would try and answer you. Eoghan
