First commercial passenger flights and East Gerenish roads

Title: First commercial passenger flights and East Gerenish roads
Posted by: Frank Fitzpatrick on 20-07-2018

Discussion: Does anyone know when the first commercial passenger flights started to the Uist's ? Doubt if it would be before 1955 but any information would be appreciated.

Also, does anyone recall when the 'new' road to East Gerenish was constructed? I cannot recall anything other than it was the government's Job Creation programme. Might have been 1962?
