John McPhee from Frobost, South Uist

Discussion: I am working on the genealogy of John McPhee from Frobost. I have his birth as in the year 1741, and his death in Prince Edward Island, Canada about 1820. He and his wife, Margaret had four boys and three girls. One of their daughters, Sarah, was born on South Uist around 1776, and married an Angus Walker, also from South Uist, about 1800 in Prince Edward Island. My family home is 6, Frobost. South uist. Family are still there. We have started looking into our family history. Have traced family back to late 1700’s. Not sure if we can be of any help!
