Title: What did crofters think of Crofting laws when they first started?
Posted by: Peter Haff on 07-08-2016

Discussion: I'm a writer, researching crofts. Particularly, what crofters initial perceptions of the land legislation was when the Crofting Commission first started up. Where they suspicious? Who did they think it was there to help? Was it confusing? What (or what do they they think) was the short medium and long term outcomes? Do they think there was another agenda?

Any help on the above, greatly appreciated.
