This fully equipped self-catering cottage enjoys the most extraordinary views from its lounge windows - a stream running through the garden, the loch itself, and an island of trees which houses otters, swans and a host of other birds. Beyond is the village of Askernish, but the accommodation is so secluded that few people are aware of its presence.
The cottage is just over a mile from the beach and the famous ‘Tom Morris’ Askernish golf course, 4 miles from the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale and 20 miles from the airport at Benbecula.
The design of the house incorporates solatubes which ensure that it is bright and sunny, not dark as a cave, the name by which some people call the house.
