Welcome to Hillside where your hosts are Donald & Doreen MacNeil, this comfortable modern house in Glen in Castlebay is less than 5 minutes walk from Castlebay ferry terminal, and local amenities. Hillside has spectacular south facing views over looking Kisimul Castle, and Vatersay and one of the many beautiful beaches to be seen. The patio exclusively for our guests use is a suntrap and is an excellent place to unwind, relax and enjoy the views and breathtaking sunsets. In the summer you may be lucky to hear a corncrake and sometimes they can be seen running across the garden.
We have many years experience of the tourism trade and we will help to organise your day, as well as arrange day trips to Mingulay in the summer, weather permitting, to see the amazing high cliffs and the great variety of sea birds including the puffin. |
