The accommodation is located along the border of the Machair of Daliburgh. A short 5 minutes to the beach which stretches for miles. It comes with a double bedroom, a kitchenette, electric shower and toilet facilities, one sitting area and free Wi-fi. Close to all amenities, 10 minutes walk for buses, hotel, post office, shop. Experience the life in and around the croft with our animals, the wilderness of the Hebridean shore, the local wildlife (encounter with otters on a regular basis) and the beautiful Machair. Free guide provided the morning if weather permitted and avaibility. English, French and Gaelic spoken.
I am a keen wildlife photographer and have taken all my own photographs while out walking along the shorelines of South uist and the hills and lochs surrounding us. Weather permitting arrangements can be made to come along with me while out and about on my photography trips early mornings.
I can also provide you with information on were the best spots are to see otters, deer and wild birds.
It is best to go very early in the mornings to see many of our wildlife and it is not advisable to take dogs with you.
Dalimach Storm pod is situated on the small road branching off from the Borrodale hotel. turn in at the road sign Daliburgh West / brown tourist information sign marked Hallan Roundhouses. Follow road in a mile then turn to right following the sign for Hallan roundhouses. Storm pod is behind our main house which is the very last house on the right before cementary. |
