We're trying to find out more about our great grandparents who lived at 10 east gernish. Our family (mcinnes) were all from Lochcarnan and go back as far as forever it seems lol.
Is there any historical societies or anything there I could check with in Uist about how to find burial sites etc? I have details as far back as my great great great grandparents but it stops there.
the house is still in the family however I've tried to contact our relatives for information but they are very distant so I'm stuck.
