Island Voices - Documentaryby Fablevision [viewed 1470 times]
| Let me introduce ourselves. We are a community arts company based in Glasgow called Fablevision. We’re making a film which will provide the Scottish government with the views of local people on the western isles on culture and cultural entitlements. The aim is the film will help stimulate development and progression on the isles. It will be shown at a large event held by the western isles council on St. Andrews night to policy makers and msp’s and councillors.
We seek individuals like yourself if it suits to partake in a short interview and express your feelings about life on the Isles. What benefits you felt were had and also were their any negatives? We wish to find out if people in the Isles are open to the same creative pastimes as those on the mainland.
We shall be in the following locations on the following dates
Barra - Tuesday 16 October
Benbecula - Thursday 18 October
Friday 19 October
South Uist - Monday 22 October
North Uist - Tuesday 23 October
Isle of Harris - Wednesday 24 October
Isle of Lewis - Thursday 25 October
If you have any questions relating to this project, or if we can help you in any other way please do get intouch. I hope this project may appeal as its purpose is to highlight your life on the Isles and seek to find improvements within the creative sectors.
