Discussion: Hi, does anyone have access to estate rentals post 1901 in Ardnamonie, trying to find when my grandfathers uncle emigrated to Canada, also how long and were my Grandfather was living before he joined the Cameron Highlanders. Thanks.

Try contacting Bill Lawson. He may already have produced a croft history for the area - I can see he's published one for Iochdar. He's also published Registers of Emigrants, including from South Uist. See for the list of publications and for contact details http://www.billlawson.com/books.htm
