Discussion: Hi, I was wondering if there are any places on the islands that you could hire surf equipment from ie. bodyboards, wetsuits etc? I'm staying in South Uist next month and would like to give it a try. Thanks, Lyndsey.

Lyndsey, hi. I would recommend giving these guys a call www.uistoutdoorcentre.co.uk. They are based in North Uist. They have a full range of activities available. If you fancy a day out when you are on South Uist then Uist Sea tours would be money well spent: www.uistseatours.com
